An Invitation to Play - Inspired by Fighting Monkey
Workshop—17th & 18th of May, 2025
By Ozana Marginean
-
Oz's practice is a multidisciplinary approach, with Fighting Monkey* at its core. We will step into a magical playground of creative movement tasks, partner games, and full-body coordination.
Some of the tools we will explore:
Joint Articulations: Full-body movements that develop an intelligent body, promoting the maintenance of mobility and joint health.
Movement Situations: Open games that provoke creativity, rhythm, coordination, and non-linear movement.
Rhythmical Coordinations: The core organization of the human body in motion. Coordinations are essential for movement and athletic development through motion, rhythm, and whole-body coordination.
Improvisation: Tools and proposals to help you find your own unique way of moving.
Quadrupedal Movement: Crawling is one of the first actions we undertake as humans. This natural movement pattern helps develop a strong, mobile body through grounded, primal movement.
About Fighting Monkey: FM practice is developed by founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea through a deep study of cross motion analysis, and with the aim If understanding principles of human movement, communication and the ageing process

Oz believes movement isn’t just exercise—it should feel good. Too often, people move out of habit rather than from a place of joy. Oz is dedicated to helping others rediscover movement that is playful, free, and deeply nourishing, enabling them to feel more at home in their own bodies.
A former NCAA Division 1 athlete and professional basketball player, Oz holds an MSc in Sports Psychology and a Master's in Coaching. Now based in Barcelona, Oz serves as an Inspire By Fighting Monkey instructor and is the Head of Community at The True Athlete Project. In this role, Oz leads innovative programs that integrate mindfulness, playful movement, and creativity into sports.
Oz specializes in holistic athlete development and coach education, employing mindfulness and creative coaching techniques to enhance resilience, well-being, and performance. Above all, Oz helps individuals reconnect with their bodies, move with freedom, and rediscover the joy of play.

The Acrobatics Lab By Nil Teisner
Workshop—21st & 22nd of June, 2025
Nil Teisner
-
The Acrobatics Lab is a deep dive into the weird and wonderful upside down, inside out, twisted, almost impossible and inspiring world of acrobatics. Imagine a place where you can experiment with your body, gravity and other practitioners in mind-bending ways, where mistakes can transform in the most peculiar and beautiful creations, where your training can transform into a creative, refreshing and evolving practice.
This workshop doesn’t require any previous knowledge in acrobatics – all content will be broken down into various forms, some great for beginners, other for seasoned practitioners. In this event all skill levels can coexist and cocreate. Please be aware that we are going to be moving for 12+ hours – come only if you know you can handle this and are open to try something new.

“Through my work I want to inspire and guide people to create a movement practice for themselves that enables them to explore the world and their body in the fullest way and facilitates health, personal growth and creativity.”
Nil has been involved in various physical disciplines since childhood and passes on his experiences and ideas for a holistic, long-lasting, fulfilling and joyful movement practice in his work since over 10 years.
His interest in working with the body and mind began early on. With an academic study in sports science in Munich, educational program to become a massage therapist and many seminar visits on a wide variety of topics, he then began his professional work as a teacher. Nil sees continuous further education, open-mindedness and a constant curiosity towards life as the foundation of his work.
His teaching is characterized by his interest and practice of many systems and disciplines, including rehabilitation & health training, acrobatics, skateboarding, bouldering, dance, strength training, gymnastics, parkour, combat, yoga, meditation, bodywork, didactics, pedagogy, etc. The way of working is and remains dynamic: new experiences are integrated into the work, obsolete material is discarded.
The teaching goes beyond the physical: aspects such as learning experiences and processes, exploration of the self, trust in one’s own body or fear management are an integral part of the approach.
Over the years, Nil has attended numerous seminars with various teachers, studied for himself with the help of books, articles, interviews/podcasts and maintains exchanges with various teachers.
